Los Arcos National Underwater Marine Preserve
is the most visited dive site in the Nuevo Vallarta area.
As a protected marine park, fishing and shellfishing is illegal,
so that means sea life is thriving. Los Arcos offers more
diversity of marine life than any other site in the area.
Popular for people looking for a quick
half-day trip, and also with beginners because of it's great
shallow diving opportunities, Los Arcos also offers a real treat
for advanced divers. Devil's Jaw is an awesome wall
that tops out at 60 feet, dropping a whopping 1800 feet into the
abyss. Los Arcos is also well known for it's
night diving opportunities.
