OUR ADVICE:
While not one of our favorite tours, it has a rock
bottom price for those on a budget, and allows you to see some
of the nice spots south of Puerto Vallarta in only half a day.
There is
some overlap with the City & Tropical tour, so we don't
recommend booking both in the same vacation. There is
shopping on this tour...husbands beware.

This quick tour
will take you by bus into the jungle
south of Puerto Vallarta, past Mismaloya, where you'll be able
to take photos of Los Arcos and see the filming location of
Night of the Iguana starring Richard Burton, to the exuberant vegetation
of Chico's Paradise, where many movies have been filmed,
including Caveman, starring Ringo Starr.
As the bus goes deeper into the jungle,
you'll approach Chino's Paradise and the locally owned
Casa del Rio restaurant.
Here you can relax and eat lunch or have a drink (not included), or swim in the river if you like.
Next we'll visit a tequila factory where you can see how tequila
is made, and enjoy free tastings of the locally distilled
product.
