You are picked up in Nuevo Vallarta in
air-conditioned comfort and whisked away to the city
of Puerto Vallarta. You'll start at the Pitillal
district on your way to the Centro to see the Church of
the Virgin of Guadelupe as well as other local downtown
monuments. After an introduction to several of the
downtown shops, from the most popular to the most exclusive,
and some free time for shopping, we'll head through the
Romantic Zone (old town) and the villas of Conchas Chinas on
our way to Mismaloya, stopping a few times for picture taking.
Once in Mismaloya, you'll see Los Arcos and the set
of John Huston's "The
Night of the Iguana" starring Richard Burton and Ava
Gardner, the first and most famous movie filmed here in Puerto
Vallarta. Next we'll stop for lunch at either Chinos
Paradise or Gringo Jerry's jungle restaurant where you can eat
lunch (not included), have a drink at the bar, or swim (season
permitting) if you like.
Finally, we'll stop is a tequila distillery
where you can learn about the making of tequila and have free tastings.
