SCUBA DIVE MARIETAS ISLANDS

This is considered the top overall diving destination in Puerto Vallarta. The islands offer coral reefs, underwater caves, humpback whales, dolphins, and giant manta rays up to 25 feet across, as well as hordes of tropical fish.  If you only dive one site this trip, consider this one strongly.  The visibility is better than the sites closer to shore, but it is also the furthest dive site in Banderas Bay, at 21 miles from shore, so it's a good distance in the boat.

Cruise Passengers:  Yes! This tour makes a great shore excursion.

Runs:  Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:00 AM.  If you are on a cruise ship, we will work with your schedule to ensure you get to do this dive.

Duration:  6 hours approximately.

Visibility and Water Temperature:
Jan-April: 15-40 feet / 68°-75°F
May-December: 30 to 100 feet / 78°-85°F

Experience Level: All Skill Levels

Departs From: The dive shop in Marina Vallarta, very near the Cruise Ship Pier. Pick-up (one-way) is offered for Nuevo Vallarta guests, departing from the Paradise Village Marina at 8:00 AM for $3.00 per person. Exact directions will accompany your confirmation.
