Your adventure begins with a visit to the panoramic
views of the Cactlan Valley and its Capital city of Compostella,
and a stop at the lava beds surrounding the El Ceboruco
Volcano. Then its off to visit to the Ancient Nahuatl Ruins of
Ixtlan del Rio and an Indian ranch where Blue Agave is grown for
Tequila. You can witness the actual harvest, and then we'll
taste the finish product as you tour the distillery and see how
it is made. After you've experienced the tequila process, we'll
enjoy a delicious Mexican lunch at a local restaurant.
This is the only authentic tequila tour in Puerto Vallarta, and
the only tour to actually visit the famous village of Tequila,
Mexico, the true home of the liquor of the same name.
The others are only a model for tourists, while this tour visits
a real distillery and the real fields where tequila is harvested
and created. If you are looking for the true Mexican
tequila, this is the tour for you.
