Imagine being up close and personal with humpback whales! Each year, the humpbacks make the 5,000 mile journey from their feeding grounds in the Bering Strait of Alaska to the warm waters of Puerto Vallarta, where they breed and calve.

From December 16th to March 31st, you can experience all the excitement and capture the beauty of their graceful movements as we travel with them throughout the bay.  You can also capture with your camera or video, or just observe these live births, breaching, tail lobbing, or spy nopping movements.

Eco-Friendly! Our Sailboat uses a classic motor and covered propeller, making it one of the least invasive, and most eco-friendly options!

Sailing and Whales Highlights

Set sail for the Northwest corner of Banderas Bay, the protected marine preserve of the Marietas Islands, as we quest to spot humpback whales!

Enjoy a complimentary Continental Breakfast and delicious snacks as your guide shares knowledge about the whales and Puerto Vallarta's ecosystem!

Go snorkeling in the Marietas Islands!

Weather permitting, explore a beach cave!

Enjoy our Top-Shelf Open Bar, including wine, beer, tequila, whiskey, rum, vodka, and cocktails!

All our boats are fully licensed whale watching vessels, sanctioned and all of them certified by the Mexican Government. 

Runs: Daily from December 15 through March 31 at 8:00 AM from Puerto Vallarta and 9:00 AM from Nuevo Vallarta.

Departs: From Nuevo Vallarta. Directions will be provided with your confirmation.
